Yes. SmartPropel lithium battery’s cells are UL 1973 certified and come with an internal Battery Management System (BMS) with with protections for LVP/OVP/SCP/OTP/OCP, etc.

What type of charger do I need to use to charge the lithium battery?

Please utilize a standard charger for our products：

（1）For 12.8V lithium iron phosphate battery pack, utilize a lithium iron phosphate 4-string (14.6 V) charger;

（2）For 25.6V lithium iron phosphate battery pack, utilize a lithium iron phosphate 8-string (29.2 V) charger;

（3）For 51.2V lithium iron phosphate battery pack, utilize a lithium iron phosphate 16-string (58.4 V) charger;

How long it will take to charge my batteries?

Max. time to fully charge the battery = Capacity of the battery (Ah) / Charging current (A)

Can I charge lithium battery with solar panels?

Yes. Charging lithium batteries with solar panels is the most energy efficient method as you are simply using the power of the sun. You’ll need both solar panels and an appropriately-sized solar charge controller which can be installed on any RV, home, boat, or van.
